Air Berlin (AB) is strengthening its strategic partnership with Etihad Airways (EY) by offering codeshare flights from Berlin Tegel and Dusseldorf via Abu Dhabi, and to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Separately, AB named Paul Verhagen area manager, Spain and Portugal in Palma de Mallorca, effective April 12. Verhagen is former sales director for Greater China for the Air France-KLM Group.
New York-based Air Berlin Americas Inc. has named Titus Johnson as VP-Sales and Marketing, effective April 1.
Rogier de Jager has been appointed area manager for Western Europe, as of April 1.
