PrivatAir, a Geneva-based VIP airline that operates all-business-class flights for airlines including Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines and KLM, placed a firm order for five Bombardier CSeries 100 aircraft, with five options.
The order is valued at $309 million based on list prices but could increase to $636 million if all five options are exercised, Bombardier said in a statement.
“The CS100 jetliner is very well suited for our route expansion plans and we look forward to introducing this very modern aircraft into our fleet,” said PrivatAir president and CEO Greg Thomas.
Bombardier Aerospace president and CEO Guy Hachey said PrivatAir was its 11th CSeries aircraft program customer.
