Qatar Executive becomes authorised Bombardier Service facility

Doha-based Qatar Executive has become Bombardier's latest line maintenance and repair service following an agreement signed today at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo.

The agreement was signed by Bombardier's vice president for customer services and support, Andy Nureddin, and Qatar Executive's executive vice president Tilmann Gabriel.
"This is an important move for us in terms of adding support in the region," Nureddin said.
Qatar Executive - part of Qatar Airways - has a state-of-the-art 6,400 sq metre hangar at Doha Airport. The company already operates six Bombardier jets and was showing the newest - a Challenger 605 - at the Abu Dhabi event.
Qatar will be offering to perform line and AOG maintenance for Global and Challenger aircraft in the region and from April will be conducting warranty repairs on Bombardier aircraft for owners.
Speaking at the show, Bombardier's Nureddin said that maintenance and repair services are central to a positive ownership experience.
