The Middle East Business Aviation show (MEBA) takes place 11 to 13 December 2012 and is moving to a new location at Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport – Dubai World Central (DWC).
The new venue has enabled the show to grow further - the last edition held 338 exhibitors and 6,200 trade visitors. MEBA 2012 will not only develop in size but will also include focused areas of business aviation, launching Helicopters, BusinessAirports and VIPinteriors.
Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport is ideally located for those coming from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai - Dubai Marina is situated just 25 minutes drive away, Mall of the Emirates is 35 minutes and Jumeirah Beach area 30 minutes. The new location offers a host of hotel options for exhibitors and visitors in the Jumeriah, Marina and Al Barsha areas of Dubai. Events-in-Focus the show’s official travel agent has attractive packages at various hotels close to DWC.
As one of the most significant aviation events in the Middle East, combined with the move to a new, bigger, smarter, location there is no surprise that 60% of the exhibition space has been sold and the floor plan is now finalised - MEBA 2012 is set to raise the bar.
Michele Van Akelijen, Aerospace Director for F&E Aerospace, said: “We are preparing for the fifth edition of MEBA to be the biggest yet and given our new location we are excited about hosting the very first event at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. With such minimal travel times between popular hotel locations and our new venue, we foresee easy access for exhibitors and visitors alike, coming together at the region’s newest and biggest airport complex.”
