Gulf Air ranked 'Best Family Friendly Airline'

Gulf Air has been ranked among top seven global airlines as the 'Best Family Friendly Airline' by a reputed US publication- US News Travel.
The latest study of international airlines by the publication found that Gulf Air offers the best family friendly experience for passengers travelling with their kids, especially on long haul journeys. The other airlines in the study are Emirates, British Airways, Lufthansa, Qantas, Virgin Atlantic and Singapore Airlines.
The publication mentions Gulf Air’s Sky Nanny service as one of the highlights of its family friendly aspects that not only takes care of kids both on the ground and in the air but also lets parents enjoy a stress-free flight while the nannies look after the younger ones.
In March this year, Gulf Air won the best Family Friendly Airline Award in an online Facebook poll by US-based Kid’s First Fund.
Gulf Air chief services officer, Marcus Bernhardt said: "We are glad to have been recognised once again as one of the top family friendly airlines in the world. This global recognition is a clear demonstration of the success of our ‘family friendly’ brand that was launched last year. Together with our professionally trained Sky Nannies, we make sure of every little requirement a family needs when travelling with kids and make their journey comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable.”
Gulf Air’s comprehensive approach to serving families through a wide range of service touch points on the ground and in the air include but are not limited to, dedicated Sky Nannies both on the ground and in the air, separate family Check In, family areas in the lounge with exclusive kids’ play area and play kits, assigned seating, in-flight entertainment selection for kids and a stock of baby food, diapers, baby powder, baby lotion, baby wipes, baby bib and cotton bud packs in all flights.
