Sharjah-based cargo operator Starlight Airlines has begun weekly flights to Benghazi in Libya.


The airline has begun operations with a Boeing 747 freighter operating from Dubai to Benghazi once a week.
The first flight went on 20 December.
Starlight Airlines specialises in freight services to Afghanistan and Iraq and has been working alongside Emirates SkyCargo for operations into Iraq.
It also operates routes to a number of African countries and to Kazakhstan.
The company operates a fleet comprising Airbus A300, Boeing 747 and 777 as well as Ilyushin 76 freighters.
