Austrian to increase service to Eastern Europe


Austrian Airlines (OS) is increasing services to Eastern Europe from March 25 to focus on its corporate strategy. OS will axe its Vienna–Mumbai services, replacing it with Boeing 767-300ER flights to VIE–Tel Aviv and VIE–Tehran.

OS will increase Vienna–Bucharest Otopeni service from 3X to 5X daily, and VIE-Sofia from 4X to 5X daily with the summer schedule. OS will increase its VIE–London Heathrow service from 3X to 4X daily. VIE–Barcelona service will increase from 2X to 3X daily.
OS will add a fifth daily Klagenfurt–VIE flight from March 1. VIE–Tripoli service will resume with 5X-weekly flights. OS will reduce VIE–Stockholm Arlanda service from 4X to 3X daily.
