Air France KLM makes further management changes

Air France KLM Group (AF KLM) has announced organizational changes in its finance departments “in line with the orientations defined by Air France KLM board of directors in October 2011,” when it ousted Pierre-Henri Gourgeon as CEO of AF KLM Group and CEO of AF in the wake of worsening financial performance.
AF and AF KLM CFO Philippe Calavia becomes CFO of AF KLM Group and will be replaced by Frederic Gagey as CFO of AF. Gagey is KLM MD and CFO.
KLM SVP-corporate control Erik Swelheim will be promoted to CFO of KLM and Jean Sanlaville, currently SVP-corporate control of AF, will be appointed AF KLM Group corporate controller, a newly created position.
Calavia will remain a director on the AF board, and AF KLM will nominate Calavia as a member on KLM's supervisory board, it added.
