Gulf Air appoints new country manager for Abu Dhabi

Gulf Air has appointed Jabir Ali as its new country manager for Abu Dhabi.
“Abu Dhabi has been closely aligned to Gulf Air since the airline’s establishment. Its longstanding strategic relevance is therefore reflected in those individuals selected to manage the airline’s operations within the Emirati market. Mr. Ali brings a wealth of operational experience to his new role at Gulf Air. With an aviation career that has spanned over two decades and his past experience with Gulf Air in particular, he is the right person to manage this key position” said Karim Makhlouf, Gulf Air’s chief commercial officer.

With more than 20 years’ experience throughout Asia and the Middle East and an in-depth, working knowledge of the UAE and regional market, Jabir Ali has also covered several management roles within Gulf Air, previously holding the position of Sales Manager for the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prior to his relocation to Abu Dhabi.

Ali commenced his appointment in February 2012.
