SINGAPORE: Singapore signs air services agreements with Estonia and Ethiopia

Singapore has signed an Air Services Agreement (ASA) with Ethiopia and inked an Open Skies Agreement (OSA) with Estonia.
The ASA will allow carriers from both Singapore and Ethiopia to operate an agreed number of passenger and cargo flights between the two countries, and beyond both nations.
Star Alliance members Singapore Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines have previously signed a code-share agreement.
The OSA will allow airlines of Singapore and Estonia to fly between the island and any points in the European country, via and beyond to any third country.
The OSA also allows for unlimited "hubbing" rights for cargo operations.
Singaporean carriers may use these rights to base their aircraft in Estonia and use the point as a hub for cargo operations to third countries, without any restriction on destination, frequency or capacity.
With this OSA, Singapore now has air services frameworks with all 27 EU member states.
